About Me

I have more than 9 years of experience in the fields of Marketing, Video Production, and Graphic Design. I wear a few hats, and that’s how I like it. I love being busy, working hard, learning new things, and achieving new goals.

I’m a digital marketer and I spend my days trying to stay up to date with the latest strategies, trends, and tools, all while having fun with my team. I have fun doing what I do because I genuinely have a passion for the industry and the challenges it brings.

In my free time I like to lift weights (the heavier, the better), hunt, watch movies, play video games, and most importantly, spend time with my wife, Callie. We’re home bodies with a Netflix addiction and an obsession with “The Office”. Some of our other favorite things to do together are try out a new winery, experiment with a new recipe, or hang out on a river bank on a sunny day.

Element 74

June 2015 to present

Director of Marketing

Since starting with Element 74 in 2013, the company has been growing in size at a rapid pace. In 2014, I began to manage the company’s marketing initiatives, and as those initiatives grew in size, so did the need for a focused marketing position.

I was promoted to the new position of Marketing Director position in mid-2015 due to my experience with marketing at Southeast Missouri University. I also had several years of experience in graphic design, video production and budget management, which were important considerations for the position.

Jan. 2014 to present

Video Production Specialist

Element 74 started providing video production services in January of 2014. In addition to my duties as a Director of Marketing, I lead the video production department and I am the primary Videographer, Video Editor, Motion Graphics Designer and Sound designer.

Project Manager

As a project manager I get to strategize with clients on their digital marketing goals, collaborate with creative designers and work alongside a team of brilliant developers. At Element 74, we build custom websites and then accentuate their online presence through robust SEO strategies, e-commerce solutions, social media management, video production, logo and brand development, and professional photography.

Owner, Video Producer

I have an undying passion for video marketing. Plain and simple. That is why I started Videogize. I believe businesses, both large and small, can benefit from energizing their current marketing plan by add stellar, HD videos. In 2013 I was offered a fantastic role at Element 74 that I could not turn down. Shortly after I closed Videogize to devote my energy to Element 74.

In the time that I worked at Southeast I learned a great deal about web and print design, social media, SEO, marketing, networking, and so much more. It was extremely easy going to work when your job was to be creative and have fun with a team of passionate people, and learn new things.

Video Editor and Creative Director

Working at Creative Edge was an awesome experience for me given it was my first job in Video Production. As a Video Editor, I edited real estate TV shows, created new client commercials, and worked closely with my clients to ensure 100% satisfaction.

As Creative Director, I primarily coordinated and quoted all creative projects such as ads/commercials, graphics, and websites. In addition to my primary role as a Video Editor, I would either complete the creative projects myself or hire them out to free-lancers.

Oct. 2007 – Aug. 2009

Machine Operator

At ARI Inc. I operated a sheet metal roller and a corresponding burn table, managed time, orders, and two other employees. I expanded my ability to learn quickly which was beneficial in learning the job very quickly. I was put in charge of the second shift burn table after proving my ability to successfully managing the job and the other team members.


Southeast Missouri State University

B.S. Computer and Multimedia Graphics

At Southeast my graphics studies were very diverse. In the first 2 years, the graphics program included both technical graphics and multimedia graphics. I learned to use Auto CAD and 3D Engineering Design software, but after 2 years the university split the program and I chose follow the multimedia graphics program.

In this program my studies focused on graphic design, video production, 3D and Flash animation, film and digital photography, website development, and vector illustration.

In high school I worked hard for all A’s while working 20-30 hours a week at McDonalds. In my spare time, I enjoyed playing baseball for the high school team and lifting weights.
